rabbitbymoonlightCanonpoint is either post Black Moon Arc or post Infinity/Death Busters but before Stars, going with Crystal as a general jumping-off point. While the AUs below are things I'd love to work with (if just from a jamjar confusion of meeting canonmates sense), base is of course just Crystal as-is.
I'd be really interested in playing something that'd be the original/a take of the timeline where Chibi-Usa doesn't appear (as there should logically be at least one variation of this leading up to the one where she is sent back).
Relationship AUs:
With Mamoru:
Simple base choice is "everything happen as normal, except Mamoru is a woman".
A poly-/open relationship where Usagi also becomes involved Haruka after/during Infinity.
*Any shipping that isn't just assuming full canon setting will simply go with the assumption that in the Silver Millennium Serenity and Endymion were only friends, not romantically involved (like below), something which is then echoed in the present (though with or without possible confusion over emotions and how involved she might be with Mamoru).
With Haruka:
Simple base choice would be a past where Usagi and Endymion were simply good friends and she's with Haruka instead, but where Beryl assumed they were involved and whipped up the army due to that. Endymion is killed protecting her anyway, but Beryl kills her for "being the reason" she (accidentally) killed Endymion, instead of her committing suicide because he's dead.
Alternately she's with Mamoru until Infinity, where a breakup occurs (this one with or without the alternate past).
(*I would honestly prefer an assumption that the girls are all 16 instead of 14 when things start, so that Usagi would be 16/17 in Infinity.)

Date: 2018-12-30 01:39 pm (UTC)When they meet, which would still be the same situation as in canon, the reaction is less teasing about not being a trash can and getting on Usagi's nerves, but probably more teasing about how a pretty girl like that shouldn't have to struggle in school and if she wants a tutor... Which leaves Usagi flustered and she leaves, having to backtrack for her crumpled-up test again.
This partially awakens Haruka, but only to the point of starting to get small snapshots of dreams of the past, and the calling for the Legendary Silver Crystal. Since she's most probably a racer still, here, she's a "he" during the day and her non-magical disguise (keeping Tuxedo Kamen or not?) would probably be a dapper dressed woman, to keep with the sailor guardian transformation later.
They would meet at the arcade again later, though of course not for the racing game which hasn't been installed just yet, but there's some tentative bonding over that anyway, and a beginning, and confusing, split in Usagi's affections between the mysterious masked woman who keeps helping her and the handsome boy from the private school she keeps meeting (... and possibly gets tutoring from, as she wanted with Ami?).
The masquerade event at the presentation of Princess D's "treasure" leads to a short flash of a partial memory of Sailor Uranus bowing for Princess Serenity (at an angle neither would recognize themselves or each other from). Haruka kisses Usagi on the cheek at the end of that, after some hesitation.
The episode where Usagi realizes the masked woman and Haruka are the same would probably come with some confused to relieved reaction where Usagi understands she does not care whether Haruka is a woman or a man and she likes him as both, and either, and Haruka confessing some split pull/confusion regarding Usagi/Sailor Moon and the princess calling for the Legendary Silver Crystal, which would probably have Usagi start to pull back before Haruka says her affection is to "you, Dango."
Usagi's awakening and the release of the crystal comes with Haruka, when the piece of the crystal goes inside her, awakening as Sailor Uranus, though she gets captured, and the group goes to the Moon.
(The past: The difference here that Serenity's fascination with the Earth and meeting Prince Endymion does not lead to a romance, as she has already been introduced to the Outers at some sort of presentation, and she and Uranus are slowly orbiting around each other in some nascent long distance relationship. Instead she and Endymion bond over wishing of things and people they may not be able to have (here, Beryl's affection for Endymion is returned, but her status not high enough to be considered), though Beryl is still the issue when it comes to Metalia, as she's struck with jealousy and insecurity regarding Endymion and Serenity's friendship.
Metalia possesses Endymion ("giving Beryl what she wants" as the possessed Endymion then proclaims her his intended, before the populace starts being turned with aggression towards the Moon), and his strange behaviour draws Serenity down to Earth. The attack on the Moon starts with the death of Princess Serenity, in an attempt to draw out her mother, who holds the Legendary Silver Crystal. Uranus is pulled into the fighting when she feels the death of Serenity, but otherwise the end comes similarity, as she survives long enough for the talismans to resonate and awaken/call Sailor Saturn, and Metalia-as-Endymion is sealed away as otherwise happens.
(Beryl finding the Dark Kingdom (probably the former capital/palace) and the sleeping Endymion/Metalia, both awakens her desire for power and her lost love, so she wants the Crystal to defeat/drive away Metalia and get Endymion back.)
However, the attempt to brainwash Uranus instead calls the other active Sailor Guardians (and her princess of course) as she struggles against it, and Uranus gets free, though the struggle with Beryl and the Shitennou awakens Endymion/Metalia fully as it unleashes enough power to do so. The fight is a bit of a mess, where Endymion being freed of Metalia and getting a moment to reunite with Beryl before they're killed in Metalia's attempt at absorbing power to get at Sailor Moon/the Legendary Silver Crystal.
She is defeated, and the renewal of the world also reveals Endymion/Mamoru, Beryl and the Shitennou reborn.
Possibly something set before the Black Moon Arc revolving around Uranus' space sword, or making that part of the Black Moon arc.
Second season would lead to the possibility of as-is with Black Moon, or, if Chibi-Usa does not exist or does not get the chance to steal the crystal, the Black Moon being dealt with in the future.
